ACCESS TO WORK SCHEME
I support a number of clients through the UK government's Access to Work scheme as a support worker to two organisations, Celebrate Difference and This is Me.
If you are in receipt of the Access to Work grant and are looking for someone to provide counselling therapy, coaching, mentoring, or another aspect of my work, then please read on.
Whether you're coming to terms with a new diagnosis or label, working through the repercussions of a condition that has been part of your life for many years, or trying to come to terms with experiences from your past that have left you feeling less that positive about your future, counselling therapy may be exactly what you need.
Bringing my qualifications and experience as a Person-Centered and Transpersonal Counselling therapist together with my passion for supporting and providing a safe and supportive space to those who have spent much of life feeling as though they don't fit in, it is always an honour to provide counselling therapy sessions for Access to Work clients.
Our journey together will begin with a free 30-minute chat to answer any of your questions and see if it feels like the right fit for us to work together.
From there, if you decide to work with me, I will support you to work through your challenges and integrate your strengths through a series of 60-minute sessions held weekly, or at the frequency that feels right for you.

If you're looking for a more direct approach to support as you move through your Access to Work journey, not only supporting you through your challenges but also encouraging you to meet your goals and holding you accountable when that doesn't happen, maybe I'm your woman.
As a qualified Life Coach and experienced personal and professional mentor, I bring all of my skills to the table to provide you with a supportive yet forward-moving approach to coaching and mentoring. And with experience of everything from the corporate world to self-employment, and professional sports to wellness, I have a broad range of perspectives to offer that can support you and your work.
I will champion you at every step as we celebrate your successes and work through your challenges to help you access exactly what you need and succeed in the ways that feel right for you.
To get started with our Access to Work journey, book a free 30-minute chat in which we can talk through any of your questions and deiced whether it feels like the right fit for us to work together.
If the answer is yes, then we will agree a series of 60 or 90-minute sessions at the frequency that feels right for you, with notes and any supporting materials provided for you via email between those sessions.

Why work with me?
As a fully qualified counselling therapist and life coach, I bring a range of support skills to my work with clients and integrate all of these and more into our sessions wherever appropriate.
Meanwhile, as someone with over 15 years of experience in the corporate world, and a decade of self-employment under my belt (most of which were done alongside one another, juggling multiple jobs at once!) I have a good understanding of the world of work more broadly and can support you with a range of challenges and goals.
I myself have PTSD and know the challenges that diverse needs can bring within our careers and, across the past ten years have supported clients with a wide range of physical, mental and emotional conditions to build the lives and careers that are right for them.
If you have looked elsewhere on this site, you may have noticed that I bring a somewhat alternative and holistic perspective to much of my work with clients! While I am more than happy to integrate this within our work through Access to Work, this does not have to be the case. I am equally comfortable and experienced at providing standard counselling therapy, mentoring and coaching through the scheme.
I haven't yet applied for Access to Work, where do I begin?
Although I have supported a number of clients within the Access to Work scheme, I am by no means a pro when it comes to applying for the scheme itself and know that can be tricky!
If this is something you are struggling with, I encourage you to seek support from one of the great organisations out there set up to make this process easier. I personally work with two such organisations and can wholly recommend them to any applicants. They are:
